Atomic, which recently closed a $12.5 million Series A funding round, has quintupled its annual recurring revenue since the start of the year. Led by Klass Capital and Madrona Venture Group, the investment brings the startup’s total funding to over $15 million. The company has also bolstered its leadership, appointing former Tesla planning director Jeff Goodrich as its third co-founder and CTO.
The platform currently manages roughly 90% of purchasing across hundreds of sites for major clients like DoorDash and HelloFresh. Unlike traditional software that merely offers suggestions, Atomic’s system simulates scenarios to autonomously execute purchasing decisions. According to board member Jon McNeill, the software can ingest a client’s existing decision rules—even those never previously documented—to slash onboarding times.
